Lowestoft People & Places is a fresh new look at the town's history, focussing largely on the human aspect. A plethora of photographs of people going about their daily work and at play, as well as stunning images of the town which have not been published before, are drawn together here in this long-awaited new volume from Ian Robb. Images of the seaside and fishing fleet, the townscape, postwar development, and above all, Lowestoft's people, all combine to make a wonderful new album of images for locals and visitors to rekindle nostalgic memories of the past.
