This is a newly released colourful & detailed, flat physical “British Isles Panorama” map.
Please look at the zoomed images for some closeup detail to give you an idea of the mapping type used. We think you will agree that a significant amount of effort must have gone into the construction of this map! We are thinking that it gives a pretty decent overview of the UK, and adds in more than a few unique qualities. The colourful physical mapping background seems to have been created using a clever blend of satellite imagery and graphic design, with road layout and built-up area overlays, and pleasing optimistically coloured but attractive looking seas - subtly depth shaded to give the impression of a sea that you feel like diving into, refreshingly distancing this map from the usual standard maps which show seas as ubiquitous pale blue. Another element of unique interest is that the Earth's curvature can be clearly seen, which draws attention. In short this is a large, dual-purpose product, which provides a sensible and usable British Isles road map, over accurate appealing topographical information. The face of the map is lightly laminated as standard.
