Kyrgyzstan (full name, Kyrgyz Republic) covers an area of approximately 199,900 sq km and is mostly covered by the towering peaks of Tien Shan. Kyrgyzstan borders China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and is completely landlocked.
