Eastern Asia
Eastern Asia is a region of the vast continent of Asia that includes China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Tibet, North Korea, South Korea, Mongolia and Taiwan. The region is one of the world's most populated parts of the world, with approximately 22% of all the people in the world living in Eastern Asia. Typhoons and tropical storms are commonplace in the region between July and September, as are quite cold winters which result from the winds blowing out from the interior of Eurasia (Europe and Asia) during the winter when the land is very cold. China is the largest country in the region, and the many cultures of Eastern Asia mostly share a Chinese cultural legacy.
