OS Ireland
Ordnance Survey (OS) Ireland is the name of the national mapping agency in the Republic of Ireland. The most well-known consumer publications of OS Ireland are an atlas of Dublin city (Dublin City and District Street Guide) and an all-Ireland road map (the Complete Road Atlas of Ireland) which it publishes in co-operation with Land and Property Services Northern Ireland. In addition, OS Ireland produces a comprehensive range of urban, rural, tourist and leisure maps at a variety of scales using the most up to date technology. This mapping information is available digitally as well as in traditional forms, and is recognised for its clear presentation and thoughtful design. This mapping data is also licensed out for a wide range of computer based applications such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
