Discovery Walking Guides (DWG) began life with a mission to tempt ordinary tourists 'off the beaten track'. Many years later, DWG are producing some of the best and most inspiring walking guides available. DWG pride themselves on their accuracy, and now use GPS to ensure the pinpoint navigational accuracy of all their maps. Indeed, one of DWG's most popular publications was 'GPS The Easy Way'. This little book introduced thousands of walkers to GPS navigation. A spin-off from DWG's GPS database has been a CD of Personal Navigator Files that contains the GPS locations for every walk covered in their books. This information can be downloaded direct to a GPS, giving the user details of thousands of walking routes.
